You Tube and School Marketing

Sunday, July 05, 2009
'You Tube' has a role to play with School Marketing in the 21st century.

Nothing succeeds these days more than a school marketing ''You Tube' video with the younger to middle aged demographic.

(You may like to embed a non-You Tube video into your website which is professionally produced, however there are a number of downsides to this option, the least being the amount of time this may take to download. Too much time spent downloading and the potential viewer is more likely to leave your website.)

You will need an articulate presenter, or at least a one who will appeal to your designated audience on your website, who will be able to record a video, or cam-recorder from their computer, of the message you would like to espouse.

Make the presentation relevant to your audience and presented in such a way as to be of interest to this targeted group.

Show the Re-Energised School Marketing You

    Sunday, June 21, 2009
Once you have been re-energised back into the school marketing world - go to it with a passion ... after all, what is more noble than a successful educational institute for our children.

We all too often forget, or lose sight of, this nobility!

To market a school from this noble perspective will add a depth not before seen.

The community will  not only be informed as to what your school offers but they will feel what is good and right and necessary in your school's educational community.

Be re-energised, be an integral aspect of the nobility of schools and be a successful school marketing manager, all for the betterment of our children!

Step Back and Breath: Re-energize School Marketing

    Saturday, June 13, 2009
The school marketer will occassionally need to step back and be energised so as to re-energise the school marketing plan.

Too often we get so caught up in our main task of marketing the school that we actually lose the vision of our whole intention and purpose. Step back and breath - smell the roses!

This may take a few forms. We may just initially need to be recharged ourselves personally. Otherwise it may be that our school marketing endeavours need a little reinvigoration. Maybe we need to be more motivated and inspired. May be we need to have our skills refreshed. Or may be we need to get a whole bunch of new ideas.

Give your self permission to breath. Take the break. Become reinvigorated. Make the school marketing manager and the school marketing plan refreshed, renewed and re-energised.
